LELAND – LaSalle County authorities are investigating an incident where a woman was found dead in Little Indian Creek in Leland. According to the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office on Friday authorities responded to East 1950th Rd. in Leland in reference to a female subject found dead in Little Indian Creek. The name of the individual is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. The incident is said to be isolated and is under investigation by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office and LaSalle County Coroner’s Office.
