Presentation about consumer fraud and identity theft coming to Pontiac Senior Center

 
PONTIAC – A presentation by the Illinois Attorney General’s Office will be coming to the Pontiac Senior Center/LIFE Center for Independent Living on Wednesday. According to the Federal Trade Commission, consumers lost nearly $8.8 billion to fraud in 2022, an increase of more than 30 percent over the previous year. The event is free but registration is required by Wednesday. Anyone interested in the event should contact the Livingston County Health Department for details.
