An 81-year-old waitress in Pittsburgh can finally retire thanks to a video posted by a random customer last week. Tamie Koznier took her young son to an Eat’n Park for lunch last Thursday, and heard the waitress tell someone she couldn’t afford to retire yet.
Tamie posted a clip and said, “If I can make any video go viral, I hope it’s this one.” Then she ended with, “Okay, TikTok. Do your thing,” and people delivered. She shared a GoFundMe link, and last we checked . . . people had donated well over $300,000. She called the waitress to tell her after it hit $100,000 in a single day.
