Charges filed against suspects in statewide video gaming burglary ring

CHICAGO – Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul announced a number of individuals have been charged after an investigation into a burglary ring that targeted video gaming. Dozens of establishments across the state were burglarized and the multiple suspects allegedly stole hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash out of the machines, Raoul said in a press release. Establishments in LaSalle, Bureau, Lee, DeKalb, Grundy, and a dozen more counties across the state were reportedly hit. Charges were filed against 52-year-old Giulia Wuttke, her son 32-year-old Gino Wuttke and 31-year-old Alyssa Slouka, alleging they were part of a ring that stole approximately $400,000 from video gaming machines throughout Illinois. Three other individuals are also facing a number of charges, including 42-year-old Brian Morgan, 41-year-old Syed Zaidi and 40-year-old Lucas Bailey.
