Man tries to steal stored wire and gets the shock of his life

A man in Slate Belt was caught trying to steal stored wire.  He had secured himself to a pole and was trying to cut a large copper wire when he learned that it was live.  The electricity arced through his body, giving him sever burns and shock.  He was thrown about 20 feet and dangled from the pole.  Nearby hunters heard his screaming and contacted authorities.
The man tried to tell authorities that he was deer spotting, however they found insulated tools and a large copper wire that was partially cut.  He is currently released on his own recognizance and facing charges January 20.
