SPRINGFIELD – Illinois’ new Legislature got underway yesterday with the swearing in of members and appointment of positions. State Senator Sue Rezin was chosen to remain the Deputy Minority Leader for the Illinois Senate. The Morris Republican has had that role since 2021. She began representing the 38th district after being appointed to the seat in 2010. Rezin said in a statement that it is a great honor to remain the Deputy Minority Leader under Leader John Curran.
” I am grateful for Leader Curran’s confidence and eagerly look forward to working with him as we strive to make Illinois a better place for everyone who calls it home.” Rezin said.
