10 hand gestures that are cringeworthy

As we roll into 2023, there are some hand gestures that should stay behind in 2022 according to a recent survey of Gen Zers.  The poll included 2,000 people between the ages of 18 and 29, and the most cringeworthy hand gestures have been identified.

1.  Air guitar
2. Double thumbs up
3. Writing a “checkmark” in the air at a restaurant to indicate you want the bill
4. Pinky up while drinking coffee or tea, like you’re fancy
5. Double “okay” signs with both hands
6. Saluting (Unless you’re in the Armed Forces of course)
7. Punching your fist into your palm to show you mean business
8. Fist pumps
9. Raising one finger to get people to stop talking
10. A single thumbs up
