Single vehicle crash causes life-threatening injury to driver

TROY GROVE – A single vehicle crash requiring heavy extrication left one man with life-threatening injuries Saturday. Around 3:45 PM LaSalle County Deputies were called to the area of East 4th and North 3850th Road near Troy Grove. Multiple fire departments were summoned to the scene for what was described as heavy extrication to remove the sole occupant from the vehicle. The man, whose age was not disclosed, was life flighted from the scene to a Rockford Hospital.
