MENDOTA – The City of Mendota has announced that the burn pit will reopen to residents on Monday. The hours each week will be Monday 3 PM – 6 PM and 10 AM to 1 PM Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The pit will be closed Wednesday and Sunday. The city burn pit is located south of Mendota near the sewage treatment plant.
