Autopsy report underway for 20-year-old Addison woman found dead at Starved Rock

 
OGLESBY – An autopsy report is pending with the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office for a 20-year-old woman whose body was found at Starved Rock State Park. According to Conservation Police Sergeant Phillip Wire, just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, two hikers reported an unresponsive female below the west overlook at Wildcat Canyon. Upon arrival, emergency crews pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Wire says the woman is from Addison, Illinois, and attended school at Illinois State University in Bloomington. A preliminary autopsy report is expected by LaSalle County Coroner Richard Ploch on Thursday.
