Streator Parks planning to move forward with butterfly gardens

 
STREATOR – The city of Streator Parks & Open Spaces Board will be making plans to possibly move forward with making the city more friendly to butterflies. On the agenda for the meeting this evening at 6 PM at the Council Chambers is a recommendation to the city council to approve sites within the city limits to plant butterfly gardens. They also plan on requesting bushes be planted near the railroad on East Main Street.
