64 new cases of COVID-19 reported in LaSalle County

OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department on Sunday announced 64 new cases of COVID-19 were discovered, bringing the total case count since the pandemic began to 6,812. They also reported 24 new recoveries, leaving 2,658 active infections in the county. The Illinois Department of Public Health also reported 7,598 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois, including 76 additional deaths. 5,160 residents were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 1,103 patients were in the ICU and 643 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.
