He went into a clothing store and stood in the window holding a shopping bag. He did not appear to match the other mannequins, but no one took notice.
After the store closed, he left the window and stole a bunch of jewelry stand, then left. He then returned a second day and attempted the same heist. However, he slipped up this time, when he returned he was seen on surveillance video eating at a restaurant in the mall, going into a clothing store, changing into a different outfit, then going and eating another meal in the mall before attempting to return to the window.
He is now facing up to 10 years in prison.
