Two World War Two vets from North Carolina named Millard Denson and Joe Stroud just met up after searching for each other for 76 years.
They met in the Navy when they were 17 and were best friends. They’re both 96 now. A family friend helped Millard track Joe down this summer. They’ve been talking on the phone for the past three months, but met up in person last Friday.
