The Chicago Marathon was last week, and a video of a late-finisher is going viral.  Jeanette Young took just over 10 hours to do it but never quit.

By the time she got to the finish line, everything had been removed and no one was there . . . except her friends and family who made their own finish line.  Her mom put a belt on the ground to mark the end, so she’d know, and they cheered for her when she crossed.  A few race officials were also still there with a medal.

She did it to raise money for the American Heart Association, and to honor an organ donor named Stephen who gave her dad a new heart in 2019.
