If a trip to Thailand is too pricey, Richmond, Virginia just got its own tiny pygmy hippo. She was born at the Metro Richmond Zoo last month. The “AP” posted a video this weekend of her hitting the pool for the first time.
The zoo opted to let people vote on what to name her, and they’re announcing it today. The two finalists were “Poppy” and “Hammie Mae.”
