DEPUE – A new roof is on the way for the library in DePue and easier access is coming to the Toluca library. State librarian and Secretary of State Jesse White announced Tuesday that over $700,000 in grants were made available to locations across the state. The Selby Township Library District in DePue will receive $32,740 for the replacement of the library’s roof. The Toluca Library District will get $34,884 for the installation of power assist entry doors and new guard railings for the entrance ramp to address ADA specifications along with the replacement of the library’s HVAC system. Thirteen other locations across the state also received assistance for projects that a statewide committee selected.
