WATERMAN – An 18-year-old Lee woman has died after a two vehicle crash near Waterman on Thursday evening. In a release by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, they say that 33-year-old Jeffery A. Pantilla of Lee was driving south in a pickup truck when reportedly a car entered the roadway from a business located in the 8500 block of Leland Road. Pantilla’s pickup struck the driver’s side of a car driven by 18-year-old Joyce K Farnsworth of Lee. She was transported to a DeKalb hospital where she was later pronounced dead. The passenger in Farnsworth’s vehicle, 18-year-old Joanna A Farnsworth of Lee suffered minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
