MENDOTA – The Mendota Fire and Police Commissioners have established a 15 person roster as a hiring list for employment opportunities with the Mendota Police Department. In a Mendota city council meeting on Monday, Police Chief Greg Kellen announced that employment offers have been given to Zachary Urbanski of Spring Valley and Lucas Krammer of Princeton. Both are college graduates and are scheduled to enter the South Suburban Law Enforcement Academy at the College of Dupage on January 7th. Official swearing in of both officers will be scheduled in the near future.
