Morris Police Seek Suspect In Murder

MORRIS –  The Morris Police Department is looking for a Joliet man who may be connected to a murder earlier this month.  Police say a warrant for homicide has been put out for 32 year old Kasim K.E. Baker of Joliet.   His whereabouts are unknown.   Baker allegedly may be responsible for the death of 65 year old Daniel Smiley.   He was found deceased in a residence on March 8th.  Anyone with information on Baker’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Morris Police Department at 815-942-2131,  Grundy County Crimestoppers at 815-942-9667, or their local jurisdiction.
