New City Clock Unveiled in Peru

PERU – A new addition in front of the Peru City Hall will be greeting visitors with timely information. The City of Peru Clock, adorned with a plaque honoring former mayor Donald Baker, was revealed Wednesday at a ceremony attended by current Mayor Scott Harl. The funds to purchase and install the clock were paid for by Anne Baker, the late mayor’s wife.
The clock includes a special feature allowing it to play hundreds of songs with its chimes for special occasions.
