STREATOR – One bedroom and the living room suffered damage but nobody was home at the scene of a house fire Monday night in Streator. The Streator Fire Department say a neighbor walking their dog discovered smoke and called 911 to report the fire in the 600 block of South Otter Street after 7 PM. Crews arrived quickly to battle the blaze, which was determined to have been caused accidentally. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the displaced residents.
