OTTAWA – The city of Ottawa approved selling $3.7 million in bonds for their lift station project and an already completed water main replacement. Plans for the lift station include relocating north to 1515 Illinois Avenue, free from flood plain. Mayor Aussem says $1.2 million bonds is going towards a water main replacement project under the Fox River that occurred in the summer. The city is moving forward in the design process and could be ready for bid by next construction season.
