STREATOR – Rehabilitation of a 68,000-gallon water storage tank has been completed in the Village of Dana.
According to Illinois American Water, the $400,000 investment will extend the life of the 115-foot-tall storage tank located on Walnut Street, and ensures safe drinking water. The steel standpipe tank which was originally constructed over a decade ago was taken out of service to complete the necessary work, which included inspection and maintenance as well as painting to the interior and exterior.
