SPRINGFIELD – Increased enforcement from the Illinois State Police begins this week in honor of a fallen state trooper. On January 12, 2019, ISP Trooper Christopher Lambert was on duty assisting a road-side incident when he was killed by another vehicle that failed to stop. Enforcement details will focus on making roads safer through raising awareness of the Move Over (Scott’s) Law. The statewide initiative will run through Saturday.
