“Sausage,” a stray dog, has been helping kindergartners cross the street

A stray dog in Batumi, Georgia has quickly become not only man’s best friend, but kindergartners’ best friend as well…
Kupata — which means “Sausage” in English — became a viral sensation when he was seen helping schoolchildren walk across a busy street. He became such a loyal companion to the kids that the Adjara Department of Tourism and Resorts awarded Kupata his own “People’s Choice” appreciation star. Despite having no home, the city makes sure the pup regularly eats and bathes, and the joy he brings to students and the surrounding community is nothing short of immense.
