Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for January 29th:
Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane proves, once again, he has a heart of gold.
The eminently talented Renaissance Man has just made a generous donation of $1 million to the Australian Zoo Wildlife Hospital. The money will reportedly put towards the Koala Intensive Care Ward, which has undoubtedly seen an influx of cases due to the raging wildfires that plagued Australia at the start of the year.
Needless to say, the hospital is grateful for MacFarlane’s donation. He even received some social media love from Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late crocodile hunter/TV personality Steve Irwin, who said it better than I probably could: “On behalf of all wildlife, thank you so much for your support Seth MacFarlane. You are an extraordinary Wildlife Warrior.”
