Alderman retires in Mendota; seat opens at end of month

MENDOTA- Mendota Mayor David Boelk announced that fourth ward alderman Bill Hunt will retire later in the month. Boelk expresses regret at having to announce Hunt’s resignation, as he was a great asset to the city of Mendota. Although Hunt was not present at Monday’s city council meeting, Mayor Boelk stated that his resignation would take effect February 29th.
