
OTTAWA – A Joliet man faces drug charges and attempting to flee authorities on Sunday. According to the Ottawa Police Department, 21-year-old Corey Dusean Ross is charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver ecstasy and aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. Authorities say, Ross fled police after K-9 Gussy performed a free-air stiff around his vehicle in the 1400 block of Scott Street. Ross’ vehicle allegedly traveled off of the ramp to I-80 eastbound at Route 71 and located inside were more than 50 purported ecstasy pills. Ross is being held at the LaSalle County Jail on a million dollar bond.
