4-year-old missing for two days found in the woods with dog by her side

Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for March 31st:
A four-year-old girl disappeared from her babysitter’s sight last week, but was found safely in a wooded area in east Alabama alongside a hound-dog.
“We took a walk but then I got too fast and got running and got lost and then I started calling for nanny but nanny was too far,” Vadie said in a video her mother posted online.
The girl, Vadie Sides, was in good condition, thankfully, but her disappearance sparked a search party of local area police departments, first responders, community members, and volunteers. The end result was a positive one, blessed so.
But probably the most grateful was Vadie’s mother, who said: “I do not have enough words to express the proper gratitude to all of our community that came out to help us find this little angel.”
