STREATOR – Streator City Manager David Plyman spoke regarding how the city will be enforcing Governor J.B. Pritzker’s COVID-19 guidelines at Thursday’s city council meeting. Plyman said that the municipal operations of the city will continue to follow the governor’s orders. He also explained that because the LaSalle County Public Health Department has much more knowledge and experience regarding the health and safety of Streator residents, the city will pass along any concerns regarding any local businesses being open. The city has investigated some reports in order to help out the Health Department, as they want to be responsive to any concerns, but the information is then passed along to the Health Department.
