SHERIDAN- Three new infections of COVID-19 were found at the Sheridan Correctional Facility. This comes after weeks of being on lockdown with extensive testing and sanitation procedures in place. The IDOC reported on Thursday three additional inmates have tested positive. Seven staff members and 17 inmates have tested positive since the pandemic began. Currently, five staff and 12 inmates are considered recovered.
