Fundraising kicks off to put Smart TV’s in Veterans’ Home

PERU – Fundraising efforts to help residents of the LaSalle Veterans’ Home communicate with loved ones during the pandemic kicked off over the weekend with events in Spring Valley and Peru. Studstill Media’s Operation Smart TV raised over $3,000 towards their goal of putting hi-tech televisions in each room of the Veterans Home. WALLS 102 morning personality Czar camped on the roof of Grandma Rosies Sweet Treats in Spring Valley to gather funds, and a cookout event was held at the Schimmer dealership in Peru.
