SPRINGFIELD – In the Friday update from the Illinois Department of Public Health, they disclosed that more area long term care facilities have had deaths related to COVID-19. In the last seven days there have been four more deaths at the LaSalle County Nursing Home and one death at Streator Unlimted Inc. Since the pandemic began 275 patients and staff of long term care facilities in LaSalle County have tested positive with 33 deaths reported.
