Halloween can be celebrated during the pandemic, but CDC offers advice

CHICAGO – Ghosts and Goblins will be roaming the streets in many communities Saturday, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has some advice to help keep everyone safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. They advise skipping trick-or-treating and festivities involving crowds, and instead do events virtually, like an online costume contest or a movie night at home. The CDC notes that events with people who are not in your household increase the likelihood of an infection.
