OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Republican Central Committee has voted overwhelmingly to censure Representative Adam Kinzinger. According to a press release, at their regular monthly meeting, two issues echoed repeatedly amongst committeemen, that is Kinzinger not meeting with the Central Committee in over six years and also because he called for the impeachment of former President Trump. The resolution to censure Kizinger passed with 88%. The LaSalle County Central Committee says they’ve received unsolicited support for the censure from over 40 county Republican Central Committees around the state.
