PERU – The Peru Elementary School District 124 announced that they will be returning to in-person learning beginning March 15th. According to Superintendent Jamie Craven, after reflecting upon the disruption the adjusted schedule would create for many families, and considering current positivity rates and trending data, the district feels they must take this opportunity. Craven says with increased class sizes, they can’t guarantee students will always be six feet apart but will do their best to maintain social distancing measures. The option is still available for families who wish to stay remote.
