LaSalle Fire Chief Andy Bacidore announces retirement

LASALLE – LaSalle’s Fire Chief Andy Bacidore announced his plan to retire this May. The 38-year member of the LaSalle Fire Department says it has truly been an honor and a privilege to serve the wonderful residents of the City of LaSalle. Bacidore led the fire department as chief for 24-years, following in his father’s footsteps who also served as chief for 20 years. In his announcement, he went on to thank other LaSalle departments, city office staff, and Mayor Jeff Grove for putting their confidence in him. He is also grateful for local area fire departments, EMS, and dispatch who helped protect the city in its time of need.
