LASALLE – A truck driver has been ticketed after a 7 vehicle crash on Interstate 80 on Thursday that injured 4. Around 8 AM near the Illinois 251 interchange authorities say a tractor trailer driven by a Canadian man allegedly struck the rear of multiple vehicles who were stopped on the interstate due to construction delays. One of the four injured, a man from Bettendorf, Iowa, reportedly had serious injuries, while the other three had what were described as non-life threatening injuries. The Canadian man was cited for following too closely. The crash closed I-80 for over 2 hours.
