WWII veteran brought to tears seeing a photo of his late wife animated with technology

Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for April 20th:
I stumbled upon this video on TikTok over the weekend. I’m very happy to see it making the rounds.
Jake Larson is a 98-year-old World War II veteran. He met his wife Lola after coming home from the war. The two married and were together until Lola’s death in 1991.
Jake’s granddaughter decided to use a website to reanimated a photo of her late grandmother and bring Lola back to life. Grandpa was brought to tears by both the gesture and the video.
This squeezed some tears out of me when I first saw it and it still does. A beautiful video all around.
