Ethereum’s 27-year-old co-founder, Vitalik Buterin, is now the world’s youngest cryptocurrency billionaire.
With his riches, Buterin has donated $1 billion to India’s COVID-19 relief fund. India is in the middle of a catastrophic virus outbreak and needs all the help they can get. Buterin’s donation will absolutely go a long way.
Buterin was born in Russia in the town of Kolomna, just outside of Moscow. He later moved to Canada with his family and was raised in Toronto before co-founding the Ethereum blockchain in 2015.
