MORRIS – A 25-year-old man is dead and one person was injured after a single vehicle crash Thursday in Grundy County. The Grundy County Coroner announced that around 5 PM a vehicle was traveling northbound on Filman Road when for unknown reasons it left the roadway, rolled multiple times, ejecting the driver. Authorities say Kade Smith from Gardner was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger was transported to Morris Hospital, however their condition was not disclosed. The crash remains under investigation by Callahan’s Office and Grundy County Sheriff’s Department.
