Nothing brings people together quite like a dog. Nothing gets people to act faster than seeing a dog in distress.
Six strangers spotted an injured pup roughly 3 miles up on the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail on Mount Washington in New Hampshire. The dog’s paws were cut by the dry, rough terrain up the mountain. The dog was a Rottweiler named Odin, who weighed at least 90 pounds and needed to be carried to safety.
The hike down was nearly three miles, but it wasn’t much for six people who wanted to assure the dog got down to ground level without further injury. A local animal rescue team greeted them at the bottom of the mountain.
