PERU – A woman in her 20’s has been located safe according to authorities after being the victim of what was initially called an abduction on Monday in Peru. At a press conference on Tuesday, Peru Police Chief Doug Bernabei announced that the female involved in the incident was found in a Peoria apartment that morning. Bernabei stated a suspect in the incident, 27-year-old Bobby A. Cross, is still being sought. Cross is reportedly from Peoria and officials said he was sharing an apartment with the female victim. Law enforcement said there is no danger to the public and the incident is an ongoing investigation.
