LASALLE – LaSalle aldermen are running into issues with the city’s southside public yard waste site. Alderman Tom Ptak expressed his concern over the smell that sometimes lingers around the new and improved Rotary Park and the comments that have been made to him by other park goers.
Aldermen discussed making restrictions on when people can drop off their burnable rubble or placing cameras around the site, which most were for. Mayor Jeff Grove says the burn pile is a benefit for people all over the area but is open to any suggestions to stop the lingering smells.
