COMPTON – A half a dozen cars in Compton have windows busted after an afternoon storm packing nearly lime sized hail roared through north central Illinois on Tuesday. Pat Johnson said it was the largest hail she has ever seen. Her home suffered some damage and the rear window of her car was shattered. Heavy hail accumulation in other communities made some lawns look like it was winter.
