DEKALB – A Two vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer has taken the life of a DeKalb man. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s office were called to the intersection of Peace Road and Fairview Drive Friday around 11:30 AM, where they found a sedan driven by a 25-year-old Belvidere man had allegedly failed to yield at the corner to the tractor-trailer. A passenger in the car, 30-year-old Charles Perkins of DeKalb was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the DeKalb County Coroner and the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
