OGLESBY – The Oglesby Library will be getting some much needed repairs. Oglesby Library Director Jill Shevokas spoke to the city council Monday to not only describe the nature of the damage to the building, but the cost of repairs. The council was approached a couple weeks ago to see if they could help the library with replacing some fascia, gutters and mortar to prevent water from running down the inside walls. The council voted in favor of using available TIF funds to pay the $9,050 for the work.
