STREATOR – STREATOR – Streator Elementary District 44 will continue with Governor J.B. Pritzker’s mask mandate for schools. In a 5-2 vote on Thursday, the Streator Elementary Board voted in favor of the contentious mask mandate. Students and staff will be required to wear masks indoors at all times regardless of vaccination status. Earlier this week, Streator High School’s District Board suspended mask-wearing requirements.
