Voting has begun for new IVCC eagle mascot

OGLESBY – Illinois Valley Community College is hosting a community-wide vote for an updated eagle mascot logo this week. Voting for the new eagle design ends Friday on IVCC’s social media accounts. Followers will be choosing between two updated designs, both created by IVCC alum Jaclyn Sonnenberg.
“As we approach the college’s 100-year anniversary celebration in 2024, it is an opportunity to refresh a number of things including our brand,” said Fran Brolley, executive director of community relations and development.
